A screw cover is probably not one of the first things you think for when it comes to design or keeping everything color coordinated but they can play a major role in doing so. Let’s take the example of a business poster.
If you have something in your office that is displayed to commemorate a business achievement – maybe a newspaper article, a photograph or even a certificate – then you will want this to be displayed quite prominently as it advertises your business as a whole as well as gives a feeling of confidence and security to your clients or potential clients that see it. However what you also want is for this object and the frame that it is enclose in to be coordinated with the office as a whole. As we said, it is all very well having it stand out – and so it should – however it should not stand out to an extent that it looks silly or totally out of place. And screw caps can aide in the process of blending it in while still maintaining an air of importance.
These covers basically do as they say – they cover the screw itself and the whole that the screw is in and serve two basic purposes. One is, as we have mentioned to aide in the design of the whole object itself, and the second is to stop dirt etc… getting into the actual screw as this can be incredibly annoying if you ever need to take the screw out. In terms of design it is often untidy and unprofessional just to leave the screws out as they are and these covers can be put on in the same color as the rest of the object and thus help to blend it into the office as a whole.
